Coalicion de Derechos Humanos Tucson, AZ $12,000
A renewal grant to support Coalicion's efforts to organize immigrant communities, residents of Sonora, Mexico, and members of Native American tribes in both Arizona and northern Mexico to fight for just border policies and civil rights.


Common Counsel Foundation Grassroots Exchange Fund Oakland, CA $19,500
A renewal grant for a fund to supply travel grants to encourage community activists to seek assistance from one another and to build regional and national networks.


Contra Costa ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) Bay Point, CA $11,000
A renewal grant for this multi-racial group of low- and moderate-income families working in Richmond, Pittsburg, Antioch and Bay Point to win improvements in public education, city services, affordable housing and youth services.


Fresno ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) Fresno, CA $13,750
To support the efforts of low- and moderate-income community members to improve their neighborhoods in Fresno, and to work in conjunction with ACORN members across the state to address statewide renter's rights, affordable housing and the educational crisis.


La Mujer Obrera El Paso, TX $12,000
A renewal grant to advocate for the rights of Mexican immigrant women, and to help promote their economic empowerment through social enterprises, small business support, and bilingual workforce development.


Nevada Young Activist Project of PLAN Reno, NV $15,000
The first of a five-year grant to support this project of the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada, which is organizing the states first progressive youth program to work on a range of social and economic justice issues.


North Dakota Progressive Coalition Bismarck, ND $12,000
A renewal grant to support statewide organizing work to build and strengthen economic justice and corporate accountability campaigns across North Dakota.


Parent Voices - San Francisco San Francisco, CA $12,000
For this parent-run organization working to make quality child care available to all families who need it. Parent Voices combines community organizing, parent training and direct action tactics to put pressure on local, state and federal agencies to increase funding for accessible and affordable child care.


Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste Woodburn, OR $15,000
The second of a five-year grant to support a gradual leadership shift within this organization that for the last 20 years has been successfully organizing for better working and living conditions on behalf of Oregon's farmworkers and immigrants.


Re-Visioning New Mexico Albuquerque, NM $12,000
A renewal grant to build a membership base to promote social and economic justice and voter education in New Mexico.


Rio Pueblo-Rio Embudo Watershed Protection Coalition Penasco, NM $7,500
A renewal grant in support of this coalition of individuals and groups that work to protect and sustain the environment and communities of the Rio Pueblo-Rio Embudo watershed in New Mexico.

A renewal grant for this youth-led organization in Seattle that empowers young people to develop and lead campaigns for quality and equitable schools, police accountability and civil rights.

A renewal grant to empower low-income girls and girls of color to take leadership in their communities through campaigns addressing educational, social and economic injustice in Portland.


Tewa Women United Santa Fe, NM $13,750
A renewal grant for this grassroots organization of indigenous women from six Pueblos in northern New Mexico working to strengthen their communities, with an emphasis on preventing domestic violence, rape and suicide for women and youth.


The Interfaith Alliance of Idaho Boise, ID $12,000
To help fund organizing staff of this interfaith coalition working to promote the civic participation and community activism in Idaho.


Utah Jobs with Justice Salt Lake City, UT $11,000
A renewal grant to build a permanent coalition of labor, faith-based, community and student organizations and individuals committed to the struggle for social and economic justice, and to bring about change through living wage and fair workplace policies.


Western Shoshone Defense Project Crescent Valley, NV $12,000
A renewal grant to assist and provide support services to the Newe (Shoshone) people in their ongoing struggle to protect Newe traditional lands, sovereignty, and self-determination in the face of government and corporate-led mining and pollution.


Western South Dakota Native American Organizing Project Belgrade, MT $11,000
To support efforts to organize inter-tribal and inter-generational low-income Native Americans in western South Dakota around various campaigns including a demand for greater access to the Food Stamp program.
