The Fund prioritizes community organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area whose efforts center on civil rights, civil liberties, progressive media, housing rights, economic justice, environmental justice, policy change and cultural preservation.

The Fund joined Common Counsel Foundation as a Donor Advised Fund member in the summer of 2005.

Proposals are accepted by invitation only. Renewal requests may be considered from groups that have completed reporting requirements on previous grants. Decisions usually take approximately 6 months from date of submittal.
