Holly Fincke, Director
Holly has worked for and with social justice organizations for over twenty-five years as staff, Board member and volunteer activist. She has served as Director of Resource Development for Bay Area organizations such as the Mission Housing Development Corporation, the Northern California Coalition for Immigrant Rights and the Women's Building. She has also been a consultant to social justice organizations working on housing and community development issues and immigrant, worker and women's rights. As a volunteer, she has served on the leadership bodies for Latin American solidarity organizations, particularly in efforts to end the U.S. blockade on Cuba. Holly has been a housing and tenant rights activist and was a Windcall Resident in 2002 after co-leading a major, and successful, drive to win tenant protections against evictions in Oakland, California.
Sue Hutchinson, Resident Program Coordinator
Sue has been a Senior Program Officer with Common Counsel Foundation since 1997, with one of her roles having been to serve as the outreach and selection coordinator for Windcall. In Windcall's new phase, she and Common Counsel are contracted to do the same and serve as fiscal agent. Sue serves as a program officer with the Penney Family Fund and the Abelard and Acorn Foundations and participates in the Neighborhood Funders Group and the Funders Collaborative on Civic Participation. She has 23 years experience including grassroots organizing in racially diverse low-income communities, strategic planning, and nonprofit and business management. Sue previously worked with the Center for Third World Organizing, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for 10 years as a lead and head organizer, the Applied Research Center, Californians for Justice, and Fern Tiger Associates.
