Development Manager

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Strategic Philanthropy, the Development Manager is a key contributor to Common Counsel Foundation’s (CCF) fundraising strategy and execution, driving the development and stewardship of a $5M+ institutional funder pipeline in support of community-led, movement-building work. The Development Manager leads grant prospecting, owns a proposal and report pipeline, and supports cross-team coordination to advance CCF’s fundraising strategies and alignment.

With a focus on narrative power, funder education, and relational fundraising, the Development Manager aids in funder organizing efforts by helping develop events and materials that deepen values alignment across philanthropic partners. This role is ideal for a strategic and collaborative development professional with strong writing skills and a strong commitment to racial, economic, and social justice.
